Play on Android with the 88bet APK — Full Guide to Installation and Security
Installing the official 88bet APK on your Android device lets you log in, place bets, and make payments at any time. This page covers the installation steps, how to update the app, and how to stay safe.
APK File — Android App Package
What is an APK and how do you get the 88bet app?
APK stands for Android Package Kit — it is the standard file format used to install apps on Android. It works just like the package installed when you download an app from the Google Play Store, except this one comes directly from the developer's official source.
The 88bet Android app is available in APK format and there is only one place to get it — the official channel. An iOS version of the platform is also available. Avoid any third-party sources; the APK from the official source is the only reliable option.
The app gives you all the same features as the mobile browser — sign in to your account via 88bet login, deposit with bKash or Nagad, and access everything from slots to live casino with a single tap on the icon.
Install it step by step
Follow these six steps to install the 88bet APK on any Android phone.
Confirm the official source
Check that the source you are downloading the APK from is an official 88bet channel. If you are unsure, contact the site directly.
Download the APK file
The file will be saved to your phone's Downloads folder. Once the download is complete, open your file manager app and locate the file.
Allow installation from unknown sources
The first time you install, Android will ask "Do you want to install from an unknown source?" — grant permission for this one instance only.
Tap the file to open it
Tap the APK file in your Downloads folder. An installation window will appear on screen showing the permissions the app requires.
Tap the "Install" button
Review the permissions and tap Install. Installation will complete within a few seconds and the icon will appear on your home screen.
Open the app and log in
Tap the 88bet icon on your home screen, log in with your username and password, and start betting.
An in-app notification appears when a new update is available
How do you keep the 88bet APK updated?
Keeping the app updated means you get the latest features, bug fixes, and security patches. 88bet releases new versions regularly — each update may include new games, payment improvements, and performance enhancements.
- When you see an "Update available" notification inside the app, download the new APK directly from there.
- You can install the new APK over the old version — there is no need to uninstall first, and your account and balance remain intact.
- Do not download update files from any source other than the official channel.
- If you have trouble logging in after an update, close the app and reopen it, or restart your phone.
- iOS users also receive the app through the official channel and the update process works the same way.

Common installation problems and solutions
Most installation problems come down to a few specific causes. Each one is straightforward to fix.
Not enough storage
If your phone's storage is nearly full, the installation will be cancelled. Free up space by deleting photos, old apps, or unused files, then try again.
Installation is being blocked
If you see a message saying installation from unknown sources is not allowed, go to Settings → Security and enable the permission for that file manager or browser.
App won't open
If the app crashes after installation, clear your phone's RAM and try opening it again. If the problem persists, uninstall the APK and download a fresh copy from the official source.
Protect yourself from fake APKs
In Bangladesh, fake APKs disguised as online betting apps are a known problem. APK files sent via Telegram groups, Facebook pages, or unknown links can put your device and account at risk. Keep these points in mind to stay safe:
- Only download the APK from 88bet's official channel — no other source is trustworthy.
- If someone sends you a "new 88bet APK" on Telegram or WhatsApp, do not install it — these files often contain malware.
- Do not download APKs from links shared on unofficial Facebook pages or groups.
- If the app asks for unexpected permissions after installation (contacts, SMS, camera), it is not the genuine app.
- Keep a trusted antivirus app on your phone — scan any APK before installing it.
- If you are unsure, contact 88bet's 24/7 live chat support to verify.
